Jamie founded Syntropy Scientific to close the gap between intelligence systems and the reality they act on. The practice applies management cybernetics — the Viable System Model in particular — to modern infrastructure: AI, IoT, industrial systems, and the organizations that run them.

02 — OPERATING MODEL

A networked practice, not a headcount.

Syntropy Scientific does business through network relationships — collaborators, partners, and client teams — rather than conventional employment and outside investors. Several collaborators remain engaged with other entities and will be named as they step into primary roles.

Dedicated product teams for cyBRRD and SUBSTR8 realitybricks begin forming in fall 2026 — the practice's first conventional hires.

03 — ARCHITECTURE

Built on the Viable System Model.

Stafford Beer's Viable System Model describes how any organism or organization stays viable: operations, coordination, control, intelligence, and identity in continuous conversation. We implemented it as a working platform and metasystem — the connective tissue that lets client AI systems, traditional IT, developers, and customers share one adaptive network with substrate-independent sensors, actuators, and transducers.
